Poor Pumpkin . . .

I had to take Mr. Pumpkin to the vet today because he didn't seem to want to open his left eye. Not only that, but it was kind of oozing and he didn't want me to touch it. As cute as he was winking at me (I was tempted to put a pirate patch on him), I was worried about him.

So the vet gave me some ointment to put in his eye twice a day. He said that this could be a respiratory infection that he had as a kitten. Sometimes they can come back later to bother the grown-up kitty.

But the good news is that Mr. Pumpkin has lost 3/4 of a pound since we started his diet this year. He is down to 18 pounds, 11 ounces. Yay, Punkin!

It's not pink.

Look what Seema brought me from India! I finally remembered to get her my measurements, except when she said to measure my shoulders I thought she meant all the way around my upper chest, which was 42" or some crazy number. She actually meant to measure around my upper arms, so when she gave the measurements to the tailor he told her that there was no way my arms were that big! So he did a good job at guessing. And Seema kept telling me she was going to get me a pink suit. I'm glad she didn't follow through on that because I love this one! It has little tiny silver mirrors all over it. And very comfy because the pants are really loose. Thanks Seema, you rock!

Seema's here!

Seema and me
Seema and me at Cafe Japon, a karaoke/sushi place in Dupont Circle. We were not actually blurry, but it is not the fault of your receiver. Do not adjust your set.

If you've ever wondered what a subway station looks like at 12:30 on a Saturday morning, here it is.

Unfortunately, not my train.

Apparently, it's not about punctuation.

In all honesty, there was a tiny apostrophe inserted where it was needed, but it was obviously an afterthought.
