Ribbon Chips

Today Kris, Kevin, and a friend of theirs went to a craft fair at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. After we saw most of the booths, we had to try a plate of ribbon chips. They're ribbons of spiral-sliced potatoes that are deep-fried, like all fair food. Then they load 'em up with all kinds of bad-for-you toppings. I washed mine down with fresh-squeezed lemonade, because I always have to have some when I go to a fair even though I know it's way overpriced.

Mmmm ... ribbon chips. I found a place that offered them made with sweet potatoes and had far too many of them one afternoon.

(One more thing to look forward to this summer.)
